With roots steeped in Southern tradition and Louisiana warmth, Amelia’s journey began in the heart of the kitchen, where she learned that food is far more than sustenance—it is love, legacy, and medicine. After years as a chef and Certified Public Accountant turned restaurateur, her calling evolved toward holistic nutrition and apothecary healing. Today, her life’s work merges ancient plant wisdom with modern wellness, helping others rediscover balance through mindful nourishment, herbal remedies, and sacred daily rituals.
A Board-Certified Holistic Nutritionist, Certified Culinary Nutrition Expert, and Herbal Medicine & Functional Nutrition practitioner, Amelia’s approach is both intuitive and evidence-based. Her philosophy centers on the belief that when we return to whole foods, nature’s medicine, and intentional living, we restore harmony to the body, mind, and spirit.
Her creative journey naturally expanded into writing—first as a way to share the stories, flavors, and wisdom born in her kitchen, and soon as a new path entirely. Amelia is the author of her first cookbook, C’est Bon—My Culinary Journey, a heartfelt collection inspired by the rich flavors of Louisiana and the healing power of real food. She is currently working on her next cookbook, as well as additional books that explore the intersection of holistic living, culinary artistry, and the sacred language of nourishment.
Through her work at Foodie Tasting Room, Amelia offers an immersive experience—curated olive oils and aged balsamic vinegars, artisan foods, and workshops that celebrate the connection between the earth’s gifts and the human spirit. Her teaching extends beyond the table into the heart of holistic living, guiding others to create lives that are vibrant, grounded, and soulfully nourished.
Currently pursuing her Doctorate in Holistic Nutrition and Wellness, Amelia continues to deepen her understanding of the body’s innate ability to heal when supported with care, presence, and reverence.
